Firstly, welcome to my website Alexis Design. I am Alexis Reiter, a professional calligrapher and Marriage Commissioner from Edmonton, Alberta. I’ve had and continue to have, a life-long passion for the fine art of Calligraphy which I discovered at the age of eight, while attending a British private school in the West Indies. Needless to say, I haven’t been able to let go since then. As a result, I love to share my artwork as I have displayed in my calligraphy art work, here on my website, so please feel free to look around.
In addition to the fine art of calligraphy, I am also a licensed Marriage Commissioner in the Province of Alberta. Where I also earned a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science through the University of Alberta.
Alexis Design provides a broad range of calligraphic services. Alexis is also a marriage commissioner for the Province of Alberta. (Appointed in 2009.)

Quite a few people have asked what the difference is between a Marriage Officiant and a Marriage Commissioner. Quite simply, marriage officants are ordained professionals, fulfilling the provinces marriage laws and meet legal requirements. Marriage Commissioners are chosen by the Government to work for them. Both are perfect suited for this service and I will be pleased to offer a highly customized experience for you and your partner.
